DISC by Systémologie® — not a dot, a surface
Classic DISC reduces you to a dot on a disc of 4 colours or 12 shades. DISC by Systémologie describes a surface across 8 axes, asks 5 questions generated for your context, measures the gap to the expected ideal, then opens the door to Le Compagnon.

DISC, without the blind spots
DISC is a good tool. But as it is usually practised, it reduces a person to a dot, questions them outside their context, ignores their culture and often ends up in a drawer. Here is what we do differently.
- 01
Dot or surface
You are not a dot
Classic DISC
Four colours or four letters; twelve shades in the most refined versions. But the result is still a single position on the disc: a dot.
DISC by Systémologie
Your profile is a surface, drawn across 8 axes: what you naturally draw on, what you keep in reserve, and the gap between your natural and your deep profile.
- 02
The questionnaire
5 questions, designed for your context
Classic DISC
20 to 40 generic questions, sometimes adaptive, but always drawn from a fixed pool. Nothing accounts for the company or the role, even though everyone adapts their answers to their context, consciously or not.
DISC by Systémologie
The company context is configured upfront; each employee states their age, role, team and mission. So we know the “ideal” profile they will tend to answer towards. The AI generates 5 questions from all these parameters and measures the gap between their answers and that expected ideal. One or two options, or a free answer: an almost infinite depth of analysis.
- 03
Culture
Culture is measured, not assumed
Classic DISC
Culture is not taken into account, even though it profoundly changes how a profile should be read.
DISC by Systémologie
In multicultural settings, 3 behavioural questions complete the analysis, rather than inferring anything from a nationality or a claimed culture. The AI can reserve them for the employees whose role or context calls for it.
- 04
The debrief
When you don’t recognise yourself, that’s where it gets interesting
Classic DISC
Faced with criticism of pigeonholing or the Barnum effect, serious providers add a human debrief. It often tends to confirm the result: “you’re red because…”, even when the answer was yellow.
DISC by Systémologie
Everyone gets a debrief, with Le Compagnon. The points where the employee doesn’t feel aligned are precisely the ones we care about: a difficulty already worked on? a wrong analysis? These divergences are taken into account, along with whatever later emerges from conversations with Le Compagnon.
- 05
And then?
A report that doesn’t end up in a drawer
Classic DISC
The report is read, discussed, then filed away. It never changes again.
DISC by Systémologie
DISC by Systémologie is the key that opens Le Compagnon: an everyday coach that knows your profile and sharpens with every conversation.
Not a dot. A surface.
And a profile that keeps sharpening, conversation after conversation.
FAQ
DISC by Systémologie in practice
How is it different from classic DISC?
Classic DISC places you as a dot on a disc of 4 colours, or 12 shades. DISC by Systémologie describes a surface across 8 axes: the whole shape is what matters. The questionnaire is completed by questions designed for the company and the role, culture is measured through behavioural questions, and the gap between your profile and what your role expects is made visible.
Is the profile a verdict?
No. The profile is a map, not the territory: it describes tendencies, it doesn't label. The gap between the profile and what you experience is precisely what the debrief works on, and disagreement is information.
How does the debrief work?
The report is the basis for a conversation with your trainer or coach. It doesn't stop there: the debrief goes on with Le Compagnon, Systémologie's AI coach, which knows your profile.
I am already DISC-certified: is it compatible?
Yes, and your experience is an asset. Systémologie isn't read quite like classic DISC: the Systémologie certification shows what changes, and the few reflexes to unlearn.
Is it available in English?
Yes. The questionnaire, the report and Le Compagnon are available in French and English.
